We created Monumental SHIFT to shift the traditional designation and maintenance of national monuments to center ethnically and racially diverse communities in the creation, conception, funding, and stewardship to honor the lands and places that are sacred to the members of our community.

Hispanic Access Foundation establishes bridges of access that provide a path for the development and rise of Latino leaders and elevates their voices in areas where they are underrepresented. The mission of the Continental Divide Trail Coalition is to complete, promote, and protect the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (CDT). The Continental Divide Trail Coalition’s vision is to see that the 3,100-mile CDT is a renowned and revered natural resource for people to connect with friends and family, draw inspiration, and create outstanding personal experiences.

 

HECHO

Formed in 2013, Hispanics Enjoying Camping Hunting and the Outdoors (HECHO) was created to help fulfill our duty to conserve and protect our public lands for future generations. HECHO provides a platform for Hispanics/Latinos to contribute knowledge and perspectives about public land conservation.

National Religious Partnership for the Environment

The National Religious Partnership for the Environment brings together a diverse alliance of faith institutions and leaders in order to bring voice and action on behalf of caring for God's Creation. Through NRPE's four partners we bring together 160,000 congregations in the U.S. to protect God's creation through worship, education, stewardship and public witness.

 

Nuestra Tierra Conservation Project

The Nuestra Tierra Conservation Project was created in 2017 by a group of Latinx/Latine/Hispanic conservation advocates whose experience has shown them the need to provide communities of color with sustainable opportunities for community engagement, access, and education around public lands and waters — rather than initiatives that tokenize our voices.
